Welcome!
Whether it's in business, academics or personal relationships, life provides its share of humbling experiences. Our financial lives are no different and, in fact, the outcomes can be even more troublesome.
I created Eric Dickerson Associates to provide educational training to individuals seeking a stronger financial foundation and for companies and organizations looking to invest in the future of their people. My company does not generate wealth or provide financial returns. Instead we create a sense of empowerment through sound financial training with a human return of financially knowledgeable individuals.

Wishing you financial wellness

Professional Contributions
My passion
for adult and student financial management training goes back a long way, but really crystallized when I directed the team that created the My Money, My Life program for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. My Money, My Life is a financial literacy program for low-income youth in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, designed to provide basic financial training to at-risk youth. Started in 2005, and now operated by Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Pittsburgh and the Federal Home Loan Bank, My Money, My Life has a goal to educate more than 1,000 students on basic money management issues by 2009. I encourage you to visit the My Money, My Life web site and read about the many great things occurring there.

Another catalyst for my training zeal was creating First Front Door, a down payment and closing costs assistance program for first-time homebuyers. Introduced in 1997, First Front Door has a required homeownership and financial counseling component, ensuring that future buyers are fully versed on the many aspects of homeownership. First Front Door has provided financial assistance and fostered financial literacy counseling to more than 4,000 homebuyers.

As Deputy Director for the Community Investment Department at the Federal Home Loan Bank, I had the pleasure of working with a network of more than 350 financial institutions in Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. During my eleven-year tenure, I provided hundreds of training and consultation sessions to banks, community-based organizations, developers, and city and state entities seeking grant funding and programmatic solutions for housing, community and economic development activities. I was part of a progressive team that awarded more than $118 million in housing grants, committed more than $20.5 million in small business financing and administered an $825 million pool for housing and economic development loans.
